WHAT DO AMERICAN LEGION POST 14 RAFFLES SUPPORT?
Donations to American Legion Post 14 and proceeds from Raffle ticket sales are the only source of income for the post that allow us to support the community and veteran activities that are part of our mission. We are a veteran focused service organization.
We support the youth of the community with American Legion Baseball and Boy’s State and Girl’s State (upcoming note on Girl’s State). Supporting veterans is also a major focus of the things we do. We make donations to the Veteran’s home in Post Falls to assist them in fulfilling needs. We donate both financial and volunteer hours to Newby-Ginnings and annually support the North Idaho Veteran’s Standdown. We also support a multitude of other veteran’s needs throughout the community. Your donations and participation, along with the community tickets sales in the raffles allow the post to support these many worthwhile causes.

AL Post 14 members are having tremendous success selling raffle tickets for both the Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol package as well as the Nintendo Switch 2. In addition to the first prize that is the focus of our raffle, we also have 2nd, 3rd and 4th prizes of cash cards. Other upcoming raffle ticket sale dates and locations will be announced soon. Stop in and say hello to your fellow members and purchase a ticket to assist us in our important community service.

- Smith & Wesson 9mm Pistol Package. Smith & Wesson, M&P Shield 9mm, includes 2each 10-round magazines, leather holster, gun lock, ear protection devices, integrated laser sight and protective carrying case. This raffle has been ongoing and will conclude with the drawing for the winner at the monthly legion meeting on November 6. MSRP of this prize package in more than $700.00. You MUST be 21 or over to purchase a ticket for this package.
- Nintendo™ Switch 2. The newest raffle, just in time for Christmas, is a Nintendo™ Switch 2. The drawing for this raffle will be at the monthly legion meeting on December 4. Important specifications for the Nintendo™ Switch 2 includes the following:

June 16, 2025-----On behalf of the entire CDA American Legion Post … we would like to congratulate Mr.and Mrs. Rann Haight of CDA for winning our raft trip raffle!
A special shout out and thank you to Joe Roope, owner of Castaway Fly Shop, who so generously donated the raft trip. Money raised from the raffle will help us send more boys and girls to Boys State / Girls State, assist and promote American Legion Baseball, and give to other Veteran causes in the community, such as statutes and memorials….Thank you Joe Roope/Castaway Fly Shop!
